a bit about me
Hello, I'm Lizzy and I run Confetti Wedding Illustration. I live in Cumbria with my partner and wee sausage dog.

At 18, I was all ready to start a fine art degree at Aberdeen University (the furthest university from my home in Kent that I could find), but at the last minute I decided that I'd had enough of education and went to work in the music industry.

Several jobs and many years later, I realised that I still wanted to be an artist so, I picked up a paintbrush again and I've not looked back.

In 2023 I was invited to a friend’s wedding and she had a watercolour illustrator working there. I realised that this is what I wanted to do; I wanted to have that direct contact with the people I drew AND give them a quirky piece of art that would bring back memories of that special day.

Live wedding illustration is a dream job because I get to make people happy with my art. I'm always working to make my illustrations better, but as the saying goes, if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life!

some facts about me
I'm still heavily into music and love a good gig. You can always find me at the front, dodging flying mikes and amps (true story) and just having a great time.

My karaoke song is 'Time Warp' and yes, I know all the actions!

Like Wednesday Adams, I'll only stop wearing black when they make a darker colour.

I considered a career as a custom doll creator, making Wednesday dolls.

I don't watch much TV but I am a huge fan of GBBO. In my humble opinion there are two types of cake:

1) Victoria sponge Cake

2) All the others

But enough about me! What about you?

Lizzy drew our guests and worked tirelessly all day to capture them and draw them as our 'wedding favour' to our wedding guests.
I'm so pleased we booked her, she blended in beautifully, chatted to the guests, our kids obviously adored her, but most of all everyone has been sent, or given on the day, a special keepsake, personal to them
